Heisler’s Dairy Bar, Mini-Golf and Driving Range

Heisler’s Creamery in Tamaqua is a longtime local destination where homemade ice cream, scenic countryside views, and family fun come together. Rooted in a dairy business begun by Morris Heisler in 1924 and expanded into a dairy bar in 1957, Heisler’s continues to make its ice cream on site in dozens of flavors. Visitors can enjoy classic favorites along with regional specialties like teaberry, then pair a cone, sundae, shake, or banana split with savory dairy-bar favorites such as burgers, cheesesteaks, pierogies, popcorn chicken, and warm soft pretzels.

Beyond the food, Heisler’s makes an ordinary ice cream stop feel like an outing. Two 18-hole mini-golf courses, a driving range, arcade, and gift shop offer plenty to do, while the surrounding rolling hills provide a beautiful backdrop for summer evenings. Seasonal highlights—including sunflower fields, outdoor movie nights, music, and other family events—give guests even more reasons to return throughout the season.
