Key differences for returning artists vs new artists
New artists are limited to select residency session dates. Returning artists can attend anytime during the Winter/Spring or Summer Sesson dates (listed above).
New artists must pay an application fee. Returning artists do not.
New artists are encouraged to attend the program solo. Returning artists can bring a partner/co-resident or family.
New artist residency fee is higher than a returning artist’s residency fee.

Artists may apply to return anytime, however the sooner the request is made, the better the chance of booking a return residency. We cannot accept last minute applications!

Applications open on October 1 for the Winter/Spring session and December 1 for the Summer sesson.

A single resident's flat residency fee is $400 per week for our standard queen rooms.
The flat residency fee for the Jr Suite & Schoolhouse is $500 per week.
Extra persons & children are still an additional $50 per week.
Please keep in mind that we must charge taxes & a credit card processing fee for all residency fees.

Artists have broad autonomy over how they spend their time during the residency, with no required work schedule or production expectation.

Returning artists will receive preference over new applicants, however spots for returning artists are not guaranteed.
